Année 2023: LES JEUX SONT FAITS - Mon Top 52 Final

 

17 ans après l'avoir découvert lors d'un concert envoûtant à l'International, à Paris, je suis très ému de mettre Sarabeth Tucek tout en haut de mon top 52 de l'année 2023.

Je l'avais totalement perdue de vue depuis ce concert, même si je continuais à écouter religieusement son premier album, jusqu'à une intuition et une visite sur sa page bandcamp cet été. Et là, miracle je découvre que Sarabeth vient de sortir un nouvel album. Et quel album ! 

Sincèrement cette année, je ne voyais que Kara Jackson pour contester sa première place. Et un groupe français, En Attendant Ana, qui sur leur nouvel album, Principia, passe un cap et débarque direct en Ligue des Champions.

Car ma chanson préférée de l'année est chez eux, le fantastique Wonder, qui prouve que les Français sont capables de s'approprier le meilleur du krautrock pour tisser une pop-song.
Ce titre de meilleure chanson de l'année, Jessie Ware le méritait aussi, avec Free Yourself, chanson pop-dance incroyable, condensant le meilleur de Madonna et d'ABBA. Oui, oui, vous m'avez bien lu.

Enfin je n'oublie pas Orval Carlos Sibelius, le génial Grian Chatten ou l'ami Alex Pester, qui ont tous enchanté mon année 2023.
Alors que les informations (coucou Forever Pavot) sont chaque jour de plus en plus déprimantes, la musique reste un refuge sûr pour rester vivant.
